Proxmox2 snapshot backup crash on windows 2003 VM

Helo:

We recently migrate from proxmox 1 to 2.0.

Buy when the backup starts, at 5 minutes crash the VM and the backup stop. In the same node the backups of linux VM works ok.

any help?

Maybe it's possible that your windows virutal drive have bad sectors.

I've the same problem.
One node (very last 2.3 Proxmox release) run 8x kvm Linux: no problem, 2x 2003r2: running rock solid , but (randomly) on snapshot backup VMs stop and on log: ERROR: "VM xxx not running", only on 2003 VMs.
VMs remain in "stop" status.

I use virt-io for storage and NIC, I think the virt-io drivers on 2003 does not work well. The '30 release is stable, the last and the second last crash or are unstable.
On 2008 virt-io works very well.

I forgot, I use balloons service and driver (very last version) on 2003.
I will test in the next few days

Maybe it's possible that your windows virutal drive have bad sectors.

hello, the drive report no error. Just only one, disk C. But.. when proxmox make a snapshot analyze the guest VM drive? I think not, that happend in the LVM layer, i guess...
