Im new to proxmox.
My problem looks like its proxmox that doing something.
I installed Opnsense and i have 2 nic:s that i use for WAN and LAN.
WAN gets its ip from DHCP from my ISP. When i check my ip in opnsense i get one IP address (Example 24.10.101.151) when i google my ip.
But in opnsense i see another ip address (Example 24.10.101.1).
I contacted my ISP to check if im connected to a CG-NAT. And i am NOT connected to a CG-NAT cause they dont use CG-NAT.
I think it is proxmox that are changing the IP. I can use the internet without problem but i cant connect to Home Assistant from outside the network.

Did you double-check OPNsense configuration? Could you please check firewall rules whether DHCP client is allowed for WAN? Could it be some IPv6 issue (like if IPv6 is used/REQ, then no IPv4 is offerred)?
If configured properly, normally this should work. You have a dedicated NIC on the PVE server that you use as network device for OPNsense? When you "google your IP", how do you access the internet?
There are some potential issues with some Realtek cards (you'd need the plugin os-realtek-re I guess).
You can use tcpdump (with "-v -v" or so) to see the DHCP traffic, and check log files.
