proxmox will not boot with gpu installed

hello i got a supermicro server and i tried to install proxmox on it but whenever i install a gpu in the server it will not boot

this is as far as it gets but when i use a cd and boot with recovery it boots but not from the drive its installed from.
i checked the hardware and works with xen and esxi but no proxmox

What you mean with gpu? A second gpu... pciecard?

Strange, use here also 2 Supermicro Servers, tested for a while with second GPU for Passthough too, works well. Can you set the on board gpu as primary?

the onboard is primary and bios settngs where set to default and other hypervisors like esxi and xen work but no proxmox
