Hello, I am a newbie with proxmox and would like to know how to enable the vmbr0 adapter.

It's set to autostart.

I cannot get any internet access in any of my virtual machines unless i run them through NAT

Is your VMBR0 on a public IP address or is it NATted behind a router?

If it is public, you need NAT, or a router of some sort.

If it is private ip address behind a router, why the F are you hiding your IP in your screenshot?

In either case, it looks like it is the only device with an IP and thus it IS active, if you are browsing that IP to get the web GUI

Sorry about that, hiding my IP for security purposes.
The IP was provided by my host on which this server is hosted on at a datacenter.
I can access SSH on the server that is running the web gui, but i cannot get any internet on any of the virtual machines created through it.

So to clarify, vmbr0 is on a public IP

You can't pass your single public IP address to a VM and still have access to the host. You need to NAT in order for your VM to have internet access.
