Proxmox vNIC speed

I use a HP ProLiant server and it has 2 on-board NIC with 1Gbs. Is there a limit for the VM in terms of NIC transfer?

At most the physical speed of one link. If you bond them you can reach a higher throughput if you have a switch that supports that and a lot of side requirements are met.
