Proxmox VE console blinking but can't type

HI,
I was configuring a proxmox VE and got locked out of it while playing with firewall. No issue in that however, over IPMI I can't login or type anything on the console. Previously I thought its issue with IPMI but looking carefully, it appears my server is kind of stuck on something and not taking any input. I tried to shift console using ctrl+shift+f2 and again blank blinking cursor. Although I can boot in rescue mode and edit the firewall config however, I need to know what is causing this and how to resolve it. Once again, the access to this PVE node is blocked from outside. Otherwise server was working fine, I am sure that I can access it from web-console and ssh if it was not blocked because of firewall. So only issue is here on direct access via IPMI.

I'm having this same issue this morning on one of my nodes. No software changes to do the node - it did have a hard drive in a ZFS that failed about 2 weeks ago and was replaced but it was solid for about a week.. now this morning the node is offline, not responding to pings. The physical console shows the default login screen like yours with the cursor blinking but no response from keyboard - can't even toggle numlock/capslock on the keyboard. Tried the USB keyboard though KVM switch first then through a physical USB port on the host - no change.

Scratching my head on this one. About to give the box a one-finger salute and hopefully it has no problems coming back up and staying up. I'll look at logs if it comes back up.
