Hello,
I am planning on purchasing Fujitsu PRIMERGY TX1320 M5.
I am looking for any feedback for such system and Proxmox VE. Are there any known issues?

Thank you!

I havent used that exact model, but a bunch of different RX configurations without any problems. The only potential problem is the RAID or SAS-HBA you want to use. If you do not buy full 128 GB-RAM check that you only buy e.g. 2x32 GB modules in order to expand it down the line if you need to. Keep in mind that this is an entry level server with limited memory capabilities.

The TX1320 M5 is a real success in my mini homelab. Currently I'm fully using one SATA Backplane through their built-in SAS support on the motherboard but I want additional drives to be installed.
I have bought a secondary SATA Backplane thus looking into a decent SAS-HBA for it.
I am planning to buy a Broadcom 9400-8I interface cards/adapter Internal SAS, SATA e.g. https://www.senetic.co.uk/product/05-50008-01

Any feedback on this adapter (and not only) for Fujitsu Primergy TX1320 M5 together with Proxmox VE 8 is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Why don't you just buy the same card again that is already in there? For my x8 SAS backplanes, I just went with the same card multiple times.

I don't know about the TX, yet RX have the ability to use a built-in SAS multiplexer so that you have x16 or x24 disks on a single HBA.
