I am using Proxmox VE 6.1
With VM Windows 10, the latest version.

I have Virtio + Ballon installed
https://www.proxmox.com/en/training/video-tutorials/item/install-windows-2016-server-on-proxmox-ve

Although there are forums that do not recommend installing it, although it is true that it consumes less RAM, but perhaps it slows down the virtual machine, can it be? Do you use Ballon with VM w10?

Can you give me some directive or advice on whether it is better to install Ballon to get a good performance of W10 to program with Xamarin + VisualStudio.
Thank you

Ballooning shouldn't affect performance at all, as long as the host isn't under *extreme* memory pressure or some other non-standard case. It is useful if you're running many different VMs on one host (overcommitting) and know that not all of them will require lots of memory at the same time. If you're only running one VM and have enough RAM available, there is no benefit to ballooning.
