Proxmox uses IDE channel by default for Windows Server 2008 R2??

So i saw, proxmox uses IDE channel by default for Windows Server 2008 R2 - does somebody know the reason for that?

Because of that, now i have problems like that: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/convert-sata-to-ide-virtio.19731/

I think IDE is a very legacy tech for Windows Server 2008 R2?

The only one acceptable method is to chose a SCSI disk with the vioscsi driver, all others work with a few kb/sec on my system...
