proxmox upgrade Proxmox VE Community Subscription

HI,
we have Proxmox VE Community Subscription till now, and it expired, the PVE version is 8.1.3, now we need to upgrade the PVE with pve no subscription, will this work? or will have any conflict issues?

Yes, this will work. The packages in no-subscription are at least at the same version level as they are in enterprise, normally higher.

Why don't you just renew your subscription?

Educated guess - because they were getting zero support with such "subscription" - it's an unfortunately named and marketed offering (as opposed to the others).
