Proxmox unresponsive

Been running Proxmox for a while now without any serious issues...
But since a few days the machine would become unreachable and I need to hard reset it ( power off/on ).
Only thing I see in the system logs is the following, any idea where I need to start to investigate?

This looks like an issue with your NIC using e1000e drivers. Are your drivers up to date/updated drivers recently?
