Proxmox server ip

Hi, I have a new server running with multiple NIC and I changed the network config...

I made the bridge DHCP and bridged it to my other adapter.

Now, the pve server has a different IP, since my local DHCP see's a different MAC address of the new NIC.

However, the pve management console (and the terminal prompt on boot), still show's the original IP from install.

Doesn't seem (and isn't) right, does Proxmox not look to see what the main NIC's actual ip is?

It's ok... found a manual entry in /etc/hosts.

removed this and dhcp ip was used instead
