As per the description, I want to try to run Revit inside a windows VM in proxmox. It did not work. AUtodesk costumer support said to me only the following environments are supported:

VMware Horizon® 6.1 or later
VMware vSphere® 6 or later
XenApp® 6.5 Feature Pack 2 or higher
Citrix® License Manager
Citrix Profile Manager

Has anyone been succesful within proxmox?

Do you have the proper license to run Autodesk software in a VM/server environment? They may ask extra money for that feature, it does work though. You need Windows 10 VDI and set up your RDP to use your GPU’s acceleration, otherwise you may get errors from that, that’s a Windows problem and if you use nVIDIA, you have an OpenGL over RDP patch for its GPU.

Autodesk costumer service did not mention anything regarding a VM/server license. Literally they just suggesrted using any of the above mentioned environments. With that said, and per your suggestion, now I would need to find a bit more info about "Windows 10 VDI". If you have a link it would be much appreciated. TY!
