Hello,

I find there's a total memory discrepancy that I can't explain between the Proxmox dashboard and the system reports.

From my terminal, I see 256GB RAM for my host.
free -m
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 257595 256527 2609 26 142 1068
Swap: 8191 881 7310

From the Dashboard, I see
RAM usage 98.94% (248.86 GiB of 251.56 GiB)

Why is my host reporting 256GB and proxmox 251GB ?

1 GB = 1000 * 1000 * 1000 = 1,000,000,000 bytes
1 GiB = 1024 * 1024 * 1024 = 1,073,741,824 bytes

Why is my host reporting 256GB and proxmox 251GB ?

Please compare free -g with the output of the GUI. free is already reporting in binary bytes.
