Hi all. Could anyone explain the situation, when during install Windows guest i choose OS Type 'Linux' by mistake? After install i powered off the VM and choose correct one, but could it be some errors or performance issues? Thank you

Create a snapshot, then switch to Windows, boot up and test if it works? If everything works as expected, remove snapshot. I would not expect degraded performance but I am unsure if Windows decides to reconfigure something or not.

Unfortunately, official documentation does not provide detailed info, except this

setting the proper Operating System(OS) allows Proxmox VE to optimize some low level parameters. For instance Windows OS expect the BIOS clock to use the local time, while Unix based OS expect the BIOS clock to have the UTC time.
