Proxmox on a Hyper-V VM

I would like to know if it is possible to install Proxmox on a Hyper-V virtual machine. Is this configuration recommended for a production environment, or could it cause any issues?

it might work (for testing purposes) but it is obviously not recommended for production as Proxmox VE is intended as a bare metal clustered enterprise hypervisor.

I never got good performance out of Linux on Hyper-V. It always was terribly slow in direct comparison to Windows running on Hyper-V, yet that is what I expect from a hypervisor from and for microsoft operating systems.
