Hey Guys,

Ok so i've been using ASSP Delux with cPanel for quite some time. And while it's VERY over-complicated I think (more than it needs to be), it does work quite well.
3 major benefits are that it sends a spam report each day to each mailbox user with their spam blocked for the past 24Hours and an ability to unblock it.

And 2. it does a very good job in the fact that it put's spam directly in a "SpamBox" folder for each email address in their mailbox.
and ofcourse number 3 has to be that all person's outside the server who'm are emailed by someone from our server, that person is automatically whitelisted for that email address...

Those 3 mean that:
1. Email's Blocked are accessible in 2 ways (1 on request and 1 as a reminder)
2. The whitelist makes the system more accurate over time

Is there any way in proxmox to perform the above 3 actions? Even if it has to be somewhat tweaked?

This happens in PMG automatically if a user has mail in their quarantine

This is conceptually nothing that PMG can do - since it's a proxy and passes mail on to the "downstream mailserver" where it's stored.
You can usually use Sieve Filtering or similar technologies on the "downstream mailserver" (just add a header to all spam-mails and sort all those mails into the folder on the downstream server)

2. The whitelist makes the system more accurate over time
check out the reference documentation - those things are all quite well explained there: https://pmg.proxmox.com/pmg-docs/pmg-admin-guide.html

I hope this helps!

How can I check this? I don't think our user's are getting a report like this?

I don't see any feature for whitelisting recipients of user's emails though? I've scanned through it a bit. But ja... That's why I asked :)

Ok so I was able to find the options in the quarantine for the "From address" for the spam report... Couple of questions...

1. When are spam reports sent out?
2. can I make the spam report "from" email spesific to each domain? i.e. I get a mail from spam@mydomain.co.za and freddie get's one from spam@freddiesdomain.co.za for example?
3. Can we change the template? I do see there is a custom option, but I have not yet been able to find the layout files...

they are triggered by the 'pmgspamreport.timer' (systemctl list-timers)

No this is currently not possible (also since the reports are sent by the same machine/entity) - you can set the From in 'Configuration'->'Spam Detector'->'Options'->'EMail 'From')

3. Can we change the template? I do see there is a custom option, but I have not yet been able to find the layout files...

check the reference documentation - https://pmg.proxmox.com/pmg-docs/pmg-admin-guide.html#pmgconfig_template_engine

the default files are in '/var/lib/pmg/templates'

I hope this helps!
