Proxmox issues with Dell U4320Q monitor

This monitor is having strange problems when a machine is interfaced with it and Proxmox is either being installed or booted. I have tried both VE 7.0 and 7.2 installs with the same issues. When the screen tries to advance to page 2 the monitor controls lockup completely and the screen goes blank and then goes offline. The machine (Dell T1650) is connected using an HDMI interface. The only way to recover the monitor is to completely unplug it (power) and plug it in again. If another monitor is used, the Proxmox install proceeds as expected and completes. But afterward, if the Dell U4320Q is connected again, the monitor interface fails in the same way when trying to boot the machine. The monitor locks up when trying to shift to the second page. Connection to the machine via the web UI shows that Proxmox is actually running and functional.

Using other environments with this same hardware does not display any issues. For example, VMWare 6.7 installs and functions normally. My thoughts at this point are to attempt to install Debian directly on this machine and see what happens. The GPU involved is a Nvidea Quadro P620. Another item to consider is that Dell says that this monitor has some KVM capabilities but has yet to document them (that I can find). The other monitor tried is an old Dell 24 inch using a VGA converter. I'm trying to consolidate monitors, not add them.

What is your dmesg output? Any strange things there?
