Proxmox installation in laptop

Hi, I've been trying proxmox for a while now and I would like to know if it would work if I install it in a laptop with this hardware:

i5
8Gb ram DDR4
1Tb Hard drive
1 Gigabit Nic

The use would be as a home laboratory, Thank you very much for the attention

Just test it, most probably (99.999%) it's going to work just fine.

If you encounter a problem, just install Debian Stretch and install the PVE packages afterwards (https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_Stretch). This way you can have a GUI and all the other ordinary laptop stuff and can use PVE.
