hello, I'm a beginner and would like to know what is the difference between installing a virtual machine on a lvm partition, which is formatted and added to the web interface as a directory and an lvm section that is added to the web interface as an lvm. Pros and cons of these solutions. I would be grateful for your answer

PS: sorry for my english

I think the directory approach uses qcow2 based files to store VM disks. The lvm approach uses individual logical volumes on top of lvm.
Advantages/ disadvantages - I'll pass ;)
