Hi,
I'm runninng : proxmox-ve: 8.4.0 (running kernel: 6.8.12-9-pve)
HW:
- Asrock N100DC-ITX (latest BIOS v2)
- RAM Patriot Viper Blackout, 3200MHz, 16GB
- SSD ADATA SSD 1TB LEGEND 710
After a few days, first it was 4, last time 12days system freezes, becomes unavailable from the network.
On top I'm running HomeAssistent VM, during the outage in the logs I see that networking is not working on HA, but zigbee network via USB zigbee stick was ok and working.
I'm running few other LXC containers and one more VM (NextCloud).
In the log (attached I can see it starts with pve-firewall, then ebtables-save and then CPU soft lookup:
It was frozen for 2hours and then rebooted my itself. 14:35 - 16:31
After reboot eveything was fine again.
In HA on zigbee network I see only few minutes outage around system reboot at 16:31, so the VM was functioning normally without network access.
memory was swapped for another model, DC PSU swapped as well, there is also another fan on top, so the CPU sits around 40-50C.
I updated the system to the latest version and rebooted.
any recomendations?
any watchdogs that would reboot system faster, not to wait for 2hours.
