Hello,
I have an usual thing happen during nas to nas copy which i never came across before.
I have a 4 Proxmox node cluster on 192.168.50.0/24 LAN. I have a FreeNAS iSCSI on 192.168.60.0/24 LAN. All virtual machines are located on LVM created on Proxmox based on ISCSI target on FreeNAS. This morning i added a 2nd FreeNAS box with hope to have redundancy for main NAS box which is also on 192.168.60.0/24 LAN. After everything was setup, i started copy from CLI of FreeNAS01 to FreeNAS02. At 18% the Proxmox went completely offline. On proxmox management panel it shows all the VMs offline including all nodes. Does not even show the NFS shares. All communication failure including FreeNAS box. I can also access all Proxmox nodes through SSH.
Did the copy on same LAN brought everything down? But FreeNAS box 01 still working though. Just not the Proxmox nodes and the new freenas box. FYI, both Freenas box are setup identically with same hardware and os. All the LANs are 1Gpbs including switch.
Any idea??
