Proxmox features

This review of Proxmox says "The deployment itself cost nothing, it is Open source software! The monthly subscription costs 17 euros per node, and it covers anything we needed so far...There are more options, but it is more then our customers needed until now ."
I was wondering - what features are not included in the 17 euros package that we might need?

Hi, pricing is per node socket

and has several levels,
- starting from basic forum support and access to stable repo and updates
- higher levels increase the quality of support, in several ways

you can use the software even without any subscription even if is not reccomended and could be seen as not "fair" for professional/production use.
limitations in this case are
- no stable repo access & updates (you still have unstable and test repos available) - from some past threads, update/upgrade could be more difficult in some cases and the simplest way may be reinstall the node
- a small nag everytime logging into any web gui that reminds you have no subscription
- lower priority in free forums support by pve team (this in theory, I've no evidence it is really so: they freely support pretty much anyone when they have time, and other people helps there too)
