Hi there,
I have a scenario in mind and I don't know exactly how to manage if this will happen.
If SSD with Proxmox will fail, how can I access my data from ZFS drives?
I tried this scenario and for me didn't work.
What I did:
- Install proxmox on a VM, attach 2 drives and create a ZFS system.
- Put data on them
- Install proxmox on another VM, and attach ONLY ONE drive there (assuming maybe one drive with data will fail as well)
- I cannot import the ZFS pool
Receiving this error: https://openzfs.github.io/openzfs-docs/msg/ZFS-8000-EY
Tried with -f, and other ways founded on the internet but none of them work.
Is it there a solution to access the data from another Proxmox machine, assuming the first one failed (I don't want a cluster ... the idea of the second one will be practically install Proxmox on a VM and attach the drive there to recover the data ...) (as the Proxmox will be installed, in first place, on a dedicated Server ... )
Is it there a solution for this that I didn't founded please?
Regards,
