Technically speaking... yes.

Could you give me step by step guide?

Google is your friend.

But, I would recommend a different approach:
  • You can do an awful lot of cool stuff with Hyper-V, Docker Desktop and Windows Subsystem for Linux. (Easy Easier)
  • Install Proxmox on the host and run Windows 10 as a VM with Single-GPU Passthrough. (Difficult)

I get why people answer this question the same way, along the lines of "why would you want to" and "just run windows as VM within proxmox." But I've recently encountered a situation where you would be advised to dual boot: the OEM digital license, where your license for Windows comes with the computer (new or refurbished) and is only valid on the condition that it is installed on the hardware it was purchased with. So the license is not transferable to a VM, and you'd have to run unlicensed Windows if you wanted to go that route.

That with a license is another thing...even if you would got a Retail Win10/11 Home/Pro license that could be transfered, it wouldn't allow you to run Win in a Virtual Machine. For that you need additional licensing.

If you got enough disks slots and ports a simple way to install PVE + any other OS both bare metal would be to get another disk. With only one OS per disk you can then simple decide which OS you want to boot from by seleting the corresponding disk as the boot disk.

Proxmox VE is meant to be run on real servers 24/7. If you want your bare metal Windows and some VMs there are better alternatives like Virtualbox, VMware Workstation, Hyper-V and so on where you could run your VMs ontop of Windows.

Hello.
I have tried to install Proxmox and windows in dual boot but it's tricky.
Dual boot without installing Proxmox over Debian it's impossible I think. Proxmox will be recognized by the bios as a boot option but not displayed like in Linux and windows dual boot options. And also, you can't have 2 OS on the same drive if you install directly Proxmox.

So there are 2 ways:

1. If you have one disk in PC and you want 2 OS's on the same drive, install Debian and Windows, install Proxmox on Debian and there you are.
2. If you have 2 drives for OS, on one use Windows and on one install Proxmox but in this case use F12 to select OS.

I have the second configuration and works perfect.

Until now this is all I managed do. Cheers!

Yes, it is possible to have two operating systems on the same drive using a technique called "dual-booting." This involves partitioning the hard drive into separate sections for each operating system and then installing each operating system onto its respective partition.

However, it is important to note that dual-booting can be a complex process, and if done improperly, it can result in data loss or damage to your system. Before attempting to set up a dual-boot configuration, it is recommended that you do your research and follow a detailed guide specific to your hardware and software configuration.

Additionally, having two operating systems on the same drive can result in reduced performance and slower boot times. It is generally recommended to have each operating system installed on its own dedicated drive for optimal performance and stability.
