At our one of Server, where we host the DR Backup Server, we recently faced a UPS power issue that resulted in corruption of the /var/log/journal file. Due to this, the server was unable to boot normally.
We managed to bring it up using recovery mode. However, it did not recover with kernel 6.8 and only worked when rolled back to kernel 5.15. We suspect that the backup failure is related to the kernel version.
We attempted several CLI commands to upgrade the kernel but were not successful. We kindly request your assistance in upgrading the kernel version and resolving this issue at the earliest.
Your prompt support will be highly appreciated.
