Hi all, i'm relatively new to proxmox, but have been playing around with it on a few physical systems and in total have 2 physical systems, with 4 VM's running just fine. I work in IT and have dabbled with hypervisors in past experience, but am by no means an expert. IT competent
Yesterday i loaded up proxmox 8.0 on a minisforums UM350, then proceeded to install a windows 10 vm. I got about half way through the windows install process when the vm console locked up, then the proxmox website crashed and failed to load. On the cli console local monitor i could see errors (see attachments). I could interact with the cli but couldn't get reboot or shutdown commands to even work. I had to hard shutdown the box.
I'd found some articles about deleting lock files and manually unlocking (i've done those things) but issues continued and/or i'd eventually have to force reboot the mini pc.
I've swapped m.2 drives, and memory sticks to no avail.
i confirmed in the bios that SVM virtualization is enabled.
itI'm using the same windows iso (dl'ed officially) that i'd used on other VMs i'd created.
I installed proxmox 7.4.1 as a test, same result after spinning up a vm.
Things crash and lock up usually around 10-15 minutes after spinning up the first vm
The only test that has given a clue, is this morning i reinstalled a fresh proxmox install again, but did NOT create any vms. it's been running, and has been fine for about 6 hours. So perhaps there's something going on with loading a vm?
The attached screenshots are from various times where a VM and proxmox web server has crashed, and that's what is presented on the local monitor
