[SOLVED] Proxmox cluster via external IP

Technically possible, but usually not a good idea. The corosync cluster engine requires a very low-latency link, which can usually only work well over local connections.

If you want to try, it should be as simple as creating the cluster via GUI and testing if it works. Not sure OTOH about routing though, so you might need some VPN layer on top (wireguard?) to "fake" a local LAN network.

To clarify the information, I will say. I rent servers on OVH in different data centers, FR and DE. Unfortunately, the budget is limited, and it was not possible to take machines with a private network (vRack). Between their data centers, I do not think that there can be a big delay, but I understand you, you are absolutely right

Thank!
