I have 4 2013 Mac PROs that I got from a friend and would like to set them up as a proxmox cluster. I was just wondering if there is any way to use the thunderbolt as a dedicated high-speed cluster network?

So each of the macros would have the nic interface connected to the switch and i could Daisy chain them via thunderbolt dedicating that as the cluster network.

thoughts?

P.S. I cannot sell these mac pros

No idea if there is a way to configure them as NICs.

If you boot a Linux Live CD (for example a recent Ubuntu), do you see the any NIC interfaces?

Thanks for the reply, I do not see them as NIC interfaces however, I can configure them as NIC interfaces in macOS.
