[SOLVED] Proxmox Cluster Ceph OSD Tree in GUI is empty from some nodes

We use Proxmox with Ceph in 3 Node Setup.
All is fine. But now suddenly only node1 can show the
Ceph -> OSDs in Webinterface
From node2 and node3 the page is empty. Reload button: no error but page is still empty
all other pages are fine. f.e. Ceph -> Configuration or Ceph -> Pools
from node1 the OSD tree is not shown correctly

From SSH:
ceph osd tree
shows the tree from ALL nodes without problems:

We USe Proxmox 6 and this is new. yesterday all was fine.
We only renamed node1 (from storage -> node1). But not sure if the behaviour depend on this. we do not know the exact time the gui did not show the osd tree correctly
There are no errors in WebGUI.

Why Proxmox GUI only show the tree from node1 and only empty page if we click at node2 or node3?

Connect to the web interface of another node, to verify if it might only be a local issue.

wow what a highspeed response time.
we manually renamed it.
it was on all web gui node2 and node3, on GUI of node1 alls 3 nodes shows the tree.

now after many hours we solved:

we do
ceph osd crush rm storage
so the empty
ID CLASS WEIGHT TYPE NAME STATUS REWEIGHT PRI-AFF
-1 44.43933 root default
-3 0 host storage
-7 21.82617 host node1
is not in the tree anymore
ID CLASS WEIGHT TYPE NAME STATUS REWEIGHT PRI-AFF

-7 21.82617 host node1

now all nodes shows the tree in Proxmox GUI.
may there is a issue in Proxmox GUI of a host is in tree list which do not have OSDs.

Well, not quiet. The node name is used to query the running OSD version for the OSDs on that node. That might have had that effect.
