[SOLVED] Proxmox Cluster and SAN Storage

Hello Proxmox Staff,

What are offical recommendetions for SAN Storage?

if i look at https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage
then the only option is LVM but it dosnt offer snapshots,
is there any other solution with block level and snapshots on FC LUN ?

No, not with snapshots triggered by Proxmox VE nodes. Though snapshots on the SAN side can still be done.

what would you recommend with storage systems like pure storage or netapp?

Not backups made with vzdump.

iSCSI does not offer snapshots either - it still depends on the storage side. On NFS, you have to use QCOW2, otherwise you will not have snapshots either.
