Proxmox backups of VM

Hi,
again I am still learning the Proxmox , is there any way we can automate Proxmox backups from command line like cron jobs ? and point them to some another location for a fail safe,
other way is there any way like other technologies where we can do a replication for critical VM's between multiple proxmox servers.

to see cron jobs that get created by Proxmox from web GUI just run in console:
cat /etc/cron.d/vzdump
