Proxmox backup stop mode

Hi, I have one question. When backup mode is set to stop, why the vm reboot instantly before backup will finish?

I use Proxmox Virtual Environment 6.3-2.

To reduce downtime. It is possible to start the VM immediately after stop, because we can use qemu builtin COW support to guarantee consistency.
