Hi
Due to hostname and IP change of my node containing also my proxmox backup server as a LXC and some other VMs they were lost during IP change
(due to hostname change a new folder was generated, I copied over the files from old to new hostname, as the lxc seemed to be stuck in the ui on the old node and afterwards rm-ing the old hostname folder, which made the lxc config file vanish in the new folder even though I copied if over with cp -r)

Well so now I'm stuck without these config files.

I have access to the raw zfs data pools, as they are created on proxmox node side and then were passed through using bind mounts.

the backup server also contains the lxc of the backup server, so the way in my eyes would be to install proxmox backup server to another LXC, then re-add my datastore, restore the backep up proxmox-backup-server lxc and then restore everything else.

However when trying to re-add the datastore I get a error in the UI that the folder is not empty -> aborting.

Well what am I supposed to do here now?

Edit local ct volumes don't seem to exist anymore, or got probably overwritten be proxmox assigning that ID again to a lxc while I was experimenting,

So my only hope is to get that datastore somehow working?
Or manually extract the stuff from the backup, via direct access to the zfs pool

There is an option under advanced when creating a datastore that allows importing an existing datastore, that worked perfectly fine for me and I was able to restore the actual proxmox backup server LXC.
