Hi there,
I'm running into an unexpected issue as I'm trying to add a GPU to run some AI models locally. My NAS is based on ASRock X470D4U2-2T (https://download.asrock.com/Manual/X470D4U2-2T.pdf) with a Ryzen Pro 5650GE CPU and 64GB of ECC memory.
PCIE6 slot is populated with X710 NIC and I put the GPU (RTX 4060 Ti 16GB) on PCIE4. BIOS is configured to do a 8x/8x split between the two slots. This configuration was working fine with my previous LSI HBA (9211-8i).
If I removed the GPU, it boots again properly. I haven't tried yet to swap NIC and GPU to have GPU on PCIE4 (not sure it will change something).
Do I need to install drivers before being able to boot? I did prioritize onboard GPU in the BIOS though.
Any ideas of what could cause this?
Thanks,
D.
