Proxmox 8.3.3 update and video playback issues

I'm pretty new to proxmox and have been using it for maybe 6 months. Everything was working well until a few weeks ago.

I run a plex and jellyfin LXC container plus a few other services.

I applied a proxmox update maybe 2 weeks ago and ever since I've had some issues - before all videos would playback fine with no need for video transcoding.

But since an update some video files won't playback using direct play and will give lots of dropped frames unless I transcode them.

I was in the middle of a video and before the update all was OK but after and since I'm unable to direct play certain files. It's the same on mobile/tv or computer devices.

I applied an update to proxmox and also updated plex and jellyfin at the same time. After I noticed the issue I restored my jellyfin from a back but the problem still exists on the restored jellyfin LXC container and updated plex LXC container so I can only assume that it's something with proxmox itself and not the containers.

I use an N100 Mini pc. I've updated Proxmox a few times since and so far no updates have fixed it.

Has anybody expierenced a problem like this or have any ideas on a possible fix? Would a proxmox clean reinstall fix this issue or anything else I could investage as I'm running out of ideas.

I'd rather not reinstall Proxmox as I don't no if this would fix it or what version I had installed before or it's a bug with the latest version with no way to install or stay on an older version?

I would reinstall if it's likely to fix my issue or updates are likely to cause rouge issues from time to time?

Any help appreciated.
