So I have an N100 based mini PC with RTL8168 which is not recognized by Proxmox. After searching I found out that the issue will probably be resolved by kernel 6.10 (whenever). With some tinkering, proper drivers can be installed (answer in threads here) but I need internet for that, so I will need an USB to Ethernet stick temporarily.
Can you recommend an eth chipset that's hassle free for this purpose? I have seen AX88179 and RTL8153 on sticks available to me, but again searches here reveal they have their own issues.
This is my first serious try at Linux to create a home server and didn't expect to be stuck at step 1 lol.
Thank you.
