Proxmox 6 Iscsi Configuration

Good Morning,
i have a test server and i connect an iscsi lun that is on my nas.
In proxmox >6 i remember that i don't check "use lun directly" option if i want to setup a LVM for sharing storage in multiple host server.

In version 6 of proxmox if i don't check "use lun directly" i can't see the lun for create LVM.
if i check the "use lun directly" option i can create lvm correctly.
Can someone tell me if this is correct?

Hi!

Have you used the NAS with the option checked since? Have you encoutered any problems?

hi dominic, thanks for your reply.
at the end i create by hand from the cli and mount the lun in iscsi:
pvcreate /dev/mapper/mylun
vgcreate vg_iscsi /dev/mapper/mylun
and all is ok......
but the issue that i encounter in my first post remain.
Sure my action is a workaround, not a solution.
