Is anyone else experiencing slowness with GlusterFS client on Proxmox 6 ?

GlusterFS client on Proxmox 5 works great, but since Proxmox 6 somehow there must be a bug on GlusterFS client.

do you have any benchmarks for this? Please also provide pveversion -v and dpkg -l | grep gluster. Proxmox VE uses the package glusterfs-client. The speed you reach when you connect to a Gluster storage depends very much on this package and only marginally on our code.

If you use the Gluster packages from the Debian repositories, then Proxmox VE 5 uses Gluster 3.8 and Proxmox VE 6 uses Gluster 5.5. You can find reports about performance drops from Gluster 3.8 upwards for example on the Gluster-users mailing list.
