I was able to get Proxmox almost working with Freenas with some help from various guides
Here: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage:_ZFS
And Here: http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/20070-Proxmox-VE-3-3-and-Freenas-9-2-7-ZFS-via-ISCSI
And also Here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1045191

I say almost because the creation process works exactly once. I can create one VM on ZFS storage before I get this error on any further create operations:
35: parse error [AuthGroup ] at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/LunCmd/Istgt.pm line 298.
the zvol is created correctly, but Proxmox does not seem to realize that that's the case.

I am not able to delete the VM i created using the Remove button, I have to remove the disk from the VM, remove the VM from Proxmox, stop the iSCSI service on Freenas, and delete the zvol. Then I can create 1 more VM before the process starts over.

When I start the VM there is another error message:
TASK ERROR: Could not find lu_name for zvol vm-102-disk-1 at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/ZFSPlugin.pm line 193.

Does anyone else have a similar setup working? Care to share how you got around these problems?
