I am using the VirtIO network drivers on a Windows KVM virtual machine and wanted to apply a rate limit to the network for each machine. To test I set the speed to 1MB/s (around 8Mbits) but it seems the outbound traffic is not being limited. The inbound traffic however is. This seems like a rather problematic bug or is it some form of configuration I am missing?
