Hi guys!

I have bought a dedicated proxmox 2.2 machine from OVH these days. All is working nice in proxmox except VNC for openvz containers (there's no such a problem for KVM virtual machines).

The problem is: when I start the openvz machine, I can connect to it by SSH, can open the VNC console where I can see the booting process, too. But, after a while the boot process on VNC console hangs out! The reload / refresh option does not help!

Of course I can connect the openvz vps where all is working well. What I only need is the access to the VNC console of that openvz container.

Maybe sombody had a similiar problem and can tell me what is goijng on ?

Hi!

Yeah, I found it at PROXMOX forum yesterday after publishing this post. The method is working, but there're so issues, ie. you can open console just after restart or while restarting a container, but it stops to work when you want to open it later - you have to restart the container once (using console button) again to access it (reload / refres options do not help), just FYI.

Enjoy!

Maybe it is not an issue. I thought I had the same problem: After reconnecting to the console there was just a "`" on the screen (like before, when I had no getty in inittab) but when I press "Return" the login message shows up (which didn't without getty)
