Proposal: Scheduled tasks before backups in Proxmox

Hello Proxmox team and community,

I would like to suggest a feature that would allow for adding specific scheduled tasks before performing a backup. The idea is for administrators to define pre-tasks (such as checking server connectivity, verifying storage status, running custom scripts), and if these tasks complete successfully, the backup would then be executed. If any task fails, the backup should not proceed.

This feature would be very useful for improving backup reliability and avoiding potential failures caused by issues that could prevent the backup from being successful.

What do you think about this idea? Is this something that could be considered for future versions of Proxmox?

Thank you for your time and for the great work on Proxmox!
