Hi All,
I am facing an issue with the configuaration of my wan interface on my PVE server, I hope someone can point me to the proper documentation or help me.
My Proxmox server is directly connected to my internet box through one of its NIC and this particular internet box is configured in bridge mode (evertything arriving on the box is forwarded to the device connected to it : my proxmox server).
Inside my proxmox server, one of my VM is a OpnSense VM that I use to protect/manage my network.
My question is related to the network configuration on PVE (vmbr0 is connected to internet box vmbr1&2 are connected to my switch for my LAN).

Which configuration should I put on the vmbr0 ?

and this is what I have on my other interfaces :

I though, I should use my WAN IP address and associated Gateway (the ones provided by the Internet provider)... but when I do so, I lose my internet connection.
With the current configuration (empty field in vmbr0), it's working, but I would like to understand if I'm not making any configuration mistake
.
THe extra question, I want to have a VM directly connected to internet (not behind the Opnsense fw)... what should be its network configuration (connected on vmbr0 ?)
Thanks
Best Regards
Vincent
