Proxmox keeps randomly taking 3+ hours to boot and 45+ min to shutdown (usually its fine but sometimes it does this)
Currently it is listing “ time out waiting for device” listing two drives that have not been connected in at least 6-8 months. Probably an fstab error i think they were commented out in case i decided to add them back and must have somehow been uncommented by a process i guess.
Seems like a simple fix there at least, but it wont drop to emergency shell or allow ssh login and i have been waiting for 2 hours and 45 min currently for it to boot, usually when it does this it just hangs and wont finish booting for 3-4 hours, last time it did it only once then was fine for months the last week or so its been doing it at nearly every other reboot….
Any ideas what would make it do this?
(I haven’t found any other errors and checked smart data including short tests on all my drives)
