Is there an easy way with Proxmox 5.0 to see what the KVM VM's IP address is from the GUI or API call? I have the QEMU guest agent but that doesn't appear to provide any information. I know with RHV/oVirt you can install ovirt-guest-agent which provides those details, does Proxmox have anything similar?

you can get the information with the qemu guest agent, but only on the command line currently
Code:
qm agent <VMID> network-get-interfaces

note that it depends on the version of the qemu-guest-agent inside the vm if this information is available
and for windows this does not work at the moment, because the qemu-guest-agent on the virtio isos is too old

dcapak, could this information IPV4,IPV6 not local be added on the GUI like other hypervisor do it when guest tools/agent are installed ?
It will be a plus (this feature is missing me coming from xen where we get it easily). It really help managing many VM.

It could be added in the "Summary" tab of the VM.
It could be added too if agent is installed or not. "Qemu agent: installed" for instance or "Qemu agent: not available"

Thanks.
