Hello,

That's my problem: I have a hp server on which I want to install Promox 5.2. I created two raids 1 with the hp assistant. When I start the installation of promox and I have to choose which disk to install proxmox, he does not see my two raids. He sees my 4 disk as if no raid had been made. This is a hardware raid.

If you have a solution I take.

Sorry for my english I'm french

This is a hardware raid.

I don't think so. In a "real" hardware raid, software cannot see the disks behind.

Could you please post what hardware this is exatcly, HP produces a lot of different kinds of server etc. "normal" servers like DL360/380 use a P4x0 controller which is a real hardware controller. If you want to see just disks with this controller, you cannot (only RAID0 per disk), because there is no JBOD support.

I assume you're running with the Dynamic SmartArray B120i FakeRaid Controller and not with the real hardware RAID Smart Array P420, right?

I go through the provisioning interface and then the storage interface, from there I go on my raid controller card and I do my two raids 1. I'm told to install proxmox and then download the driver of the raid card the hp server
