ProLiant don't find new drives

hello,

i am using proxmox 6.3-3 for private purpose on an old HP proliant DL 360 G7 Server.
Installation worked fine for me with an 500GB SDD in bay 1 as local storage

Now I installed an additional 500 GB drive in bay 2 and the IPMI interface shows the new drive as OK



unfortunately I can not find the new drive within proxmox.
Neither in the GUI nor on the console of my pve.

the only available drive ist sda which is the one in bay1




has anyone an idea, where I can find the new drive?

You need to configure the HBA to present the drive to the OS. You can use the pre-boot utility on the server or you can install/use the HPE ssacli tool. There's a decent write up here[0].
