Hi!
It's great, not to have such a strict HCL with Proxmox, as with vSphere, but that does also make it harder for me to choose a reliable hardware.
In the past, I have been using Supermicro servers for mission-critical deployments, but their NVMe-lineup is quite limited. Some partners are trying to sell mostly Asus servers for that purpos, but they are still having a VERY small market footprint.
On a global scale, there are certainly significantly more Debian-setups based on Supermicro than Asus, and because of this, I am concerned that I might encounter more problems/bugs.
What are you using as reliable setups for single-socket Genoa-systems with NVMe storage?
Thank you for your thoughts
