I need to update drivers for my DELL PERC H700 Raid Controller on a Dell R515 running Proxmox.
The driver installation utilities (provided) seem to assume I'm running a MS Windows server. On other Dell servers, I've been able to update drivers using IDRAC, but this server doesn't have IDRAC.
I wish Microsoft had live boot CDs (like many Linux distributions do); that would allow me to install the updates simply. Maybe I can boot from a Windows OS DVD and then get to a command prompt long enough to apply these updates?
Anyway, I'd appreciate any guidance from someone who has already decided preferred-methods for dealing with this.
